Ingredients:

3 Tbsps butter
1 each onion, thinly sliced
1 1/2 lbs boneless beef tenderloin or beef round steak, cut into thin strips
1 can (14 oz.) beef broth
1 1/2 cups water
1 Tbsp paprika
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
8 oz Mrs. Weiss'® Kluski Egg Noodles
1 Tbsp poppy seed
1/3 cup water
3 Tbsps all purpose flour

Cooking Directions:

1. In a large saucepan melt butter.  Add onion, cook until tender. 

2. Add meat, broth, 1-1/2 cups water, paprika, pepper and salt.

3. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover simmer, stirring occasionally, 1-1/2 to 2 hours until meat is tender.

4. Prepare noodles according to package directions; drain.  Toss with poppy seed, if desired. 

5. Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir 1/3 cup water into flour, stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Add salt and pepper to taste.

6. Serve sauce over hot noodles.
